Eight celebrities, each paired with a pro athlete, compete in a sports elimination tournament that includes head-to-head matchups in swimming, biking, running, kayaking and other athletic challenges.
Lisa Leslie and David Chavret, Bode Miller and Paige Hemmis, and Kristi Leskinen and Maksim Chmerkovskiy make up the final teams to be crowned season 1 champion. But before they can the teams will participate in three contests: a kayak race; a tug-of-war competition; and a mini-triathlon, before facing the obstacle course.
The remaining four teams race watercrafts in the Bahamian waters, aim for the target in an archery challenge, and climb a 36 foot high wall at Atlantis.
The five remaining teams are challenged to run a relay race on a golf course. Later, the teams will participate in a bowling match-up.
Day 3 finds the six remaining teams participating in a lagoon swim and a basketball shooting contest in which they will have 1 minute to score as many points as possible, with point values depending on the distance of the shot.
The remaining seven teams will be challenged to a series of 100 yard dashes in the sand. The last place team in each heat will be eliminated until a winner is determined. Also included will be a long jump contest in the water.
