This is a "day-in-the-life" show on TLC that examines the family life of a married couple, Jon and Kate Gosselin. The Gosselins are unusual in that they have 8 children, two of whom are twins, Mady and Cara, and 6 of whom are sextuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel. This was originally a 2 hour special on Discovery Health.
After five years on the air, the Gosselins bid us farewell in their show's final episode. Kate takes the kids to a dairy farm to learn how to milk a cow. Later, the soon-to-be-divorced couple sit down together to discuss the ups and downs in their lives over the years, and why the decision has been made to cancel the series. Even more importantly, how do they intend to support their large family now that their sole source of income has been canceled?

With only two episodes to go, we finally get some never-before-seen footage of the Gosselin children. Kate has enrolled all the kids in gymnastics classes, which is obviously a lot of tumbling and chances of injury for a single mom of eight! Later, when it is Jon's turn to be with the kids, he takes them to a local minor league baseball game, where Mady gets to throw the first pitch!
Now that the show is finally wrapping up, it's time to enjoy some of the Gosselins' most memorable moments from over the years. After conducting a poll on their website, TLC has put together a collection of video clips that audiences have loved the most, complete with some voice-overs from Kate. This gives viewers an opportunity to revisit the family's less scandalous days and see how much they've grown and changed since we first met them.
With the Gosselin children unable to film at this time, Kate sits down with NBC's Natalie Morales to discuss what life has been like - not only as a single mother of eight, but as a woman in the spotlight. Viewers will get a better understanding of where the show is going and whether or not Kate will continue in the television world without her kids' participation.
